The benefit of working with a broker over a bank directly is if we take your loan and the bank we send it to declines it we can have your file shipped to another lender within 24 hours and it doesn't cost you anything additional. If you go to a bank and apply for a loan you are required to pay an application, appraisal and credit fee. You are not allowed to take your package somewhere else, and the money you spent is gone.
